Acceptance of Rental Terms

By proceeding with a rental of accommodation, you are acknowledging that you have read, understood and accept the rental policies, that you agree to pay the accommodation costs and associated fees, and you agree to the limitation of the Unit 24 Owners Group’s liability.

Minimum Stays – NEW!

We only accommodate rentals of 30 days or more.

Check-in and Check-out

Check-in is 4:00 pm. A representative will provide a code to a key box shortly before your scheduled stay.  Check-out is 11:00 am. Please ensure all windows are closed and doors are locked upon departure. If you used keys from the lock box, please return them to this location. There will be a $25 charge to replace any lost keys.

Permitted Occupants

Unit 24 can sleep up to a maximum of 6 people. Tents, campers or trailers are not permitted, nor pets.

Rates & Payment

High Season – $320/night
Low Season – $210/night
Cleaning Fee – $75/stay
Damage Deposit – Variable depending on length of stay

High season includes the first weekend of summer holidays through the September long weekend, the May long weekend and the Easter weekend. Low season is all other days. We accept payment by Visa or MasterCard. GST (5%) will be added to your total. Accommodation costs in full are charged at the time of reservation. The damage deposit will be refunded to your credit card within two weeks of the end of your stay assuming no damage, fines nor excessive cleaning fees.


There is a 30-day cancellation policy. If you cancel 30 days or more before your scheduled stay, your payment minus a $50 cancellation fee will be refunded to you. If you cancel with less than 30 days notice, half your accommodation cost will be forfeited, damage deposit returned in full.


Bed & Bath Linens

Unit 24 is fully equipped with good quality bed linens, bath towels, hand towels, facecloths, and bathtub and shower mats. We do not provide beach towels and ask that bath towels not be taken outside.


Unit 24 is self-contained with a kitchen that includes cookware, glassware, flatware and utensils, coffee maker, espresso machine, microwave and toaster. A propane BBQ is provided. Dishclothes and dishtowels are provided as are garbage bags, dish soap, dishwasher detergent and laundry soap.  Sugar, salt, pepper and assorted spices are available to use.


Bathrooms are stocked with toilet paper and soap. A hairdryer is also provided.


There are televisions on both floors plus a DVD and video player on the main floor. DVDs, videos, games and books are also provided. Unit 24 is equipped with wireless internet access. Rain jackets and boots are available for use and kept in outside storage unit.


A portable crib, a high chair and a foot stool are provided for young children.


One sheltered parking spot is provided. Two additional vehicles can be parked in the complex’s parking lot. A valid parking pass must be displayed on the dash of the vehicle (stored inside Unit 24). Please put the parking passes back inside the condo upon departure.


There is no housekeeping during your stay. We provide full housekeeping on departure, however, we do ask that the dishwasher is loaded and turned on, that garbage is disposed of and that recycling is organized in bins and left inside Unit 24. If additional housekeeping is required above and beyond the normal time allotted you will be charged at an hourly rate of $25 for each additional hour of housekeeping required.

Garbage & Recycling

There are two blue recycling bins provided for your use. These bins must remain inside Unit 24 at all times and will be picked up by housekeeping staff upon your departure. Guests are asked to empty the garbage as needed by disposing bags into the large garbage bin at the end of the driveway (left as you exit Unit 24). Please do not put cardboard in the garbage. If you have excessive recycling, please take it to the small hut just beyond the garbage bin or take it home. Wild animals live in the area so it is essential to keep the exterior of Unit 24 free of garbage or recycling. Thank you for your attention to this.


Quiet time is 11:00 pm through 8:00 am. If we receive a noise complaint from the neighbouring residents or guests arising from excessive noise after 11:00 pm or before 8:00 am, Unit 24 Owners Group may, at its sole discretion, charge you a $150 noise fine. We have zero tolerance for any noise disturbances caused by quests. Please respect the quiet enjoyment of your neighbours.

Excessive Wear and Tear

The person making and paying for the rental of the accommodation is financially responsible for the cost of repairs arising from any damage beyond normal wear and tear including but not limited to carpet/floor stains, interior wall damage, appliance repairs arising from improper use, window and window covering damage, permanent linen stains, dry cleaning costs associated with stains, breakage, theft, and any other damage noted on departure incurred, sustained or brought by any person occupying or using the accommodation.


For your health and enjoyment, the accommodation is NON-SMOKING. A $200 smoking fine will be charged if you smoke inside the accommodation.

Lost & Found

We are not responsible for any personal items left behind. Upon request, items left behind will be returned by mail COD or by other means for a minimum of $25.


We hope you enjoy your stay and we ask that you treat the accommodation with dignity at all times. Please respect the local culture, wildlife and residents.
